Sejarah Internet

Pada awalnya Internet merupakan jaringan komputer yang dibentuk oleh Departemen Pertahanan Amerika Serikat di tahun 1969, melalui proyek ARPA yang disebut ARPANET (Advanced Research Project Agency Network), di mana mereka mendemonstrasikan bagaimana dengan hardware dan software komputer yang berbasis UNIX, kita bisa melakukan komunikasi dalam jarak yang tidak terhingga melalui saluran telepon. Proyek ARPANET merancang bentuk jaringan, kehandalan, seberapa besar informasi dapat dipindahkan, dan akhirnya semua standar yang mereka tentukan menjadi cikal bakal pembangunan protokol baru yang sekarang dikenal sebagai TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol).

Cara Instalasi Wi Fi

Penyebab Rusaknya Hard Disk

HIKMAH KEMATIAN

Kehidupan berlangsung tanpa disadari dari detik ke detik. Apakah anda tidak menyadari bahwa hari-hari yang anda lewati justru semakin mendekatkan anda kepada kematian sebagaimana juga yang berlaku bagi orang lain?
Seperti yang tercantum dalam ayat “Tiap-tiap yang berjiwa akan merasakan mati. Mereka yang saat ini masih hidup dan mereka yang akan hidup juga akan menghadapi kematian pada hari yang telah ditentukan. Walaupun demikian, masyarakat pada umumnya cenderung melihat kematian sebagai suatu peristiwa yang terjadi secara kebetulan saja.

Laba-laba: Sang Insinyur Ahli

Setiap orang telah menjumpai makhluk mungil yang disebut laba-laba berkali-kali dalam hidupnya, baik di rumah, di pedesaan, atau di kebun. Tapi, makhluk kecil ini hanya menarik perhatian serius segelintir orang saja, padahal ia adalah salah satu wujud kesempurnaan ciptaan Allah. Kita perlu mengamati laba-laba ini sedikit lebih dekat untuk melihat kesempurnaan ini. 
Benang yang Lebih Kuat dari Baja
Yang pertama kali terlintas dalam benak seseorang ketika berpikir tentang laba-laba adalah jaringnya. Ia merupakan keajaiban desain yang memiliki rancangan tersendiri, beserta perhitungan teknik yang menyertainya. Jika kita memperbesar laba-laba menjadi seukuran manusia, jaring yang dianyamnya akan memiliki tinggi sekitar seratus lima puluh meter. Ini sama tingginya dengan gedung pencakar langit berlantai lima puluh.

LUBANG HITAM

Abad ke-20 menyaksikan banyak sekali penemuan baru tentang peristiwa alam di ruang angkasa. Salah satunya, yang belum lama ditemukan, adalah Black Hole [Lubang Hitam]. Ini terbentuk ketika sebuah bintang yang telah menghabiskan seluruh bahan bakarnya ambruk hancur ke dalam dirinya sendiri, dan akhirnya berubah menjadi sebuah lubang hitam dengan kerapatan tak hingga dan volume nol serta medan magnet yang amat kuat. Di surat Al Waaqi’ah, Allah mengarahkan perhatian pada masalah ini sebagaimana berikut, dengan bersumpah atas letak bintang-bintang:
Maka Aku bersumpah dengan tempat beredarnya bintang-bintang. Sesungguhnya sumpah itu adalah sumpah yang besar kalau kamu mengetahui. (QS. Al Waaqi’ah, 56: 75-76)

Menurut penelitian oleh David B Larson dan timnya dari the American National Health Research Center [Pusat Penelitian Kesehatan Nasional Amerika], pembandingan antara orang Amerika yang taat dan yang tidak taat beragama telah menunjukkan hasil yang sangat mengejutkan. Sebagai contoh, dibandingkan mereka yang sedikit atau tidak memiliki keyakinan agama, orang yang taat beragama menderita penyakit jantung 60% lebih sedikit, tingkat bunuh diri 100% lebih rendah, menderita tekanan darah tinggi dengan tingkat yang jauh lebih rendah, dan angka perbandingan ini adalah 7:1 di antara para perokok. ¹

Ibadah dan keimanan kepada Allah memiliki lebih banyak pengaruh baik pada kesehatan manusia daripada keimanan kepada apa pun yang lain.

Dalam sebuah pengkajian yang diterbitkan dalam International Journal of Psychiatry in Medicine, sebuah sumber ilmiah penting di dunia kedokteran, dilaporkan bahwa orang yang mengaku dirinya tidak berkeyakinan agama menjadi lebih sering sakit dan mempunyai masa hidup lebih pendek. Menurut hasil penelitian tersebut, mereka yang tidak beragama berpeluang dua kali lebih besar menderita penyakit usus-lambung daripada mereka yang beragama, dan tingkat kematian mereka akibat penyakit pernapasan 66% lebih tinggi daripada mereka yang beragama.
Para pakar psikologi yang sekuler cenderung merujuk angka-angka serupa sebagai “dampak kejiwaan”. Ini berarti bahwa keyakinan agama meningkatkan semangat orang, dan hal ini berpengaruh baik pada kesehatan. Penjelasan ini mungkin sungguh beralasan, namun sebuah kesimpulan yang lebih mengejutkan muncul ketika orang-orang tersebut diperiksa. Keimanan kepada Allah jauh lebih kuat daripada pengaruh kejiwaan apa pun. Penelitian yang mencakup banyak segi tentang hubungan antara keyakinan agama dan kesehatan jasmani yang dilakukan oleh Dr. Herbert Benson dari Fakultas Kedokteran Harvard telah menghasilkan kesimpulan yang mencengangkan di bidang ini. Walaupun bukan seorang yang beragama, Dr. Benson telah menyimpulkan bahwa ibadah dan keimanan kepada Allah memiliki lebih banyak pengaruh baik pada kesehatan manusia daripada keimanan kepada apa pun yang lain. Benson menyatakan, dia telah menyimpulkan bahwa tidak ada keimanan yang dapat memberikan banyak kedamaian jiwa sebagaimana keimanan kepada Allah.
Apa yang mendasari adanya hubungan antara keimanan dan jiwa raga manusia ini? Kesimpulan yang dicapai oleh sang peneliti sekuler Benson adalah, dalam kata-katanya sendiri, bahwa jasmani dan ruhani manusia telah dikendalikan untuk percaya kepada Allah.
Kenyataan ini, yang oleh dunia kedokteran pelan-pelan telah mulai diterima, adalah sebuah rahasia yang dinyatakan dalam Al Qur’an dengan kalimat ini “…Hanya dengan mengingat Allah hati menjadi tenteram.” (QS. Ar Ra’d, 13:28). Alasan mengapa orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah, yang berdoa dan berharap kepada-Nya, lebih sehat secara ruhani dan jasmani adalah karena mereka berperilaku sesuai dengan tujuan penciptaan mereka. Filsafat dan sistem yang tidak selaras dengan penciptaan manusia selalu mengarah pada penderitaan dan ketidakbahagiaan.
Kedokteran modern sekarang sedang mengarah menuju pemahaman tentang kebenaran ini. Seperti kata Patrick Glynn: “Penelitian ilmiah di bidang psikologi selama lebih dari 24 tahun silam telah menunjukkan bahwa, … keyakinan agama adalah satu di antara sejumlah kaitan paling serasi dari keseluruhan kesehatan jiwa dan kebahagiaan.”

Mystery of the Devil's Triangle ( The Bermuda Triangle )

The Bermuda Triangle (a.k.a. the Devil's Triangle) is a triangular area in the Atlantic Ocean bounded roughly at its points by Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico. Legend has it that many people, ships and planes have mysteriously vanished in this area. How many have mysteriously disappeared depends on who is doing the locating and the counting.
